Floor sawing machines are used to cut reinforced concrete, tarseal or asphalt to ease the removal of redundant material or to form expansion joints in new slabs.
Core drilling can be used to create any hole for re-bars, plumbing, electrical, telecommunications, drainage holes or venting. Diameters and depths range greatly and can be drilled to precise limits.
Hydraulic cutting is mainly used for internal spaces, to avoid carbon monoxide fumes caused from petrol machines.
Handsaw cutting is used to place cuts in walls, floors and many other areas that are too small to allow the use of a floor saw.
Bar sawing is used for providing flat controlled cuts to the depth of the bar, making it ideal to cut corners and to remove over cuts in corners, which are a common issue with circular blades.
Ring sawing is used mainly to cut out doorways and windows in the structural fabric of buildings and are extremely versitle in confined spaces.

Nick’s mentor “Ted the Termite” founded Concore Drillers back in 1982. For the next 18 years the company established a solid reputation in the industry. In 2000, having undertaken a rigorous apprenticeship, Nick was given the opportunity to purchase the business, a venture that would involve thoroughly updating the infrastructure of the company and bringing its concrete cutting and drilling technology into the new millennium.
When he’s not on the tools, Nick enjoys developing his stone masonry and barbequing techniques. He is also an avid snowboarder and classic car enthusiast!
